I align technology with business strategy, leading ICT governance and cybersecurity while still designing and building the systems organisations depend on. 19 years of hands-on experience across Namibia's energy, national statistics and public sectors.
I'm an ICT leader with 19 years of experience across ICT operations, enterprise systems, web platforms and data. My career has taken me from first-line IT support in the Namibian Navy, through software development and business systems analysis, to leading ICT and security for a regional electricity distributor.
Software development runs through my whole career: as a developer and analyst programmer, then for 14 years at the Namibia Statistics Agency designing, building and running the web applications, databases and business systems behind national statistics, where I also served as Acting IT Manager.
Today I combine that hands-on engineering depth with COBIT-based governance, budget control and team leadership, and I still build: I'm currently leading development of NORED's enterprise document and records management system.
I hold an MSc in Data Science from the University of Aberdeen and completed the Management Development Programme at the University of the Witwatersrand.

Away from ICT, I perform and record as Fishman. I broke onto the Namibian music scene in 2009 with "Let's Hook Up" featuring the duo Gal Level, and in 2010 was nominated at the Channel O Music Video Awards alongside Gazza and Gal Level.
Since then I've released seven albums, with fan favourites such as "Monica", "Ose Mbeya" and "Push (Remix)", and collaborated with artists including Bantu, Mushe, Exit, Maestro, M-Jay and Buju Katjoko.
I also founded the record label Numba Busy Entertainment, which develops and releases music by Namibian artists such as Robbah-TJ, Dama Monique, Griz-D and Kajuh. The label is where my business and creative sides meet.
